Social entrepreneurship is the work of a

social entrepreneur. A social

change

IITs are accountable to Society

With funds coming from the tax payers pocket it

becomes imperative for the IITs to be

accountable to the society.

Current initiatives such as NSS, few training

programs, etc. do not justify the status &

potential of IITs & IITians as nation builders.

This calls for a need to develop an extensive

approach towards nation building with inputs

from IIT staff, students and alumni.

In a Nutshell

We are hoping that IITs contribute more to the society in a more meaningful and effective manner than what IITs are doing at present.

Social entrepreneurship is one aspect

where there is ample scope for IITs to come at par with the hopes of Indian society to which they are responsible.
