Hey Tatyana,

It’s me, Merlin (formerly Baikal)! Life has been a wild adventure since I went home with my mom and dad in March and I’ve been loving every minute of it. When I came home, I was barely nervous and went straight to exploring my new home. After all, I had so many toys to play with—how could I not love it here!

Today, my favorite activities include sprinting through my tunnels, scratching my giant cactus, climbing my cat trees, nightly zoomies, and getting lots of kisses from my mom and dad. I love smoochies. My parents make sure to shower me with attention and cuddles all day long. And at night, we all like to watch movies together and snuggle on the couch. They also do a great job of reminding me that I’m the most handsome boy in the world… which, obviously, I am.

Oh, and my personality? What’s not to love! I’m purrfect. I am very affectionate, brave, talkative, well behaved, and love to explore new

heights! That can sometimes make my mom nervous, but she’s always there to help me down.

Overall, I love my life. My parents tell me that I’m the best thing to happen to them and I feel the same way. We make the best team and I can’t wait to see what adventures we go on next!
