Ioan is passionate about enabling the
world through technology.
Ioan founded QUALITANCE in 2007
together with his long-time friend and
high-school deskmate Radu, whom he’s
been friends with now for more than 25
years. Today, QUALITANCE counts almost
200 people, and has presence on four
continents. In 2015, Deloitte has ranked
QUALITANCE as one of the 50 fastest
growing technology companies in Central
Europe.
Ioan previously held management and
consulting roles in the enterprise space
(IBM, Adobe) and Silicon Valley startups.

Mike plays at the intersection of design,
technology and storytelling.
Mike founded many startups, the first one
being a radio internet station in 1997. Yes!
That was a little ahead of its time.
He also led McCann and DDB Tribal as a
managing director in Amsterdam, London
and San Francisco. During that time he
worked on many large award winning
campaigns for clients such as Nike, Levi’s,
Microsoft, Xbox, HP, General Motors,
Volkswagen, and won many awards -
Cannes Lions International Festival of
Creativity, Effies, TED, David Ogilvy
Awards, D&AD.
MIKE PARSONS

Tom is an astrophysicist, electrical
engineer, and punk rocker.
Tom most recently helped co-found
Google[x] where he spearheaded the
development of Google Glass and lead user
experience for Google's self-driving cars,
Project Loon, and several other top-secret
initiatives.
Prior to Google[x] Tom managed a multi-
billion dollar division of Yahoo, where he
lead the creation of Yahoo Answers -
scaling from 0 to 90mm users in under 18
months.
Radu lives in the San Francisco Bay Area
where he invests in biotech & medtech
startups.
Radu has nearly 20 years of experience
operating, investing in and consulting to
medical and technology companies.
Previously, Radu was serving as Head of
Strategy at Gambro - a $6bn medical device
company, later sold to Baxter - where he
managed operations in 16 countries across
3 continents
