I., were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Slater. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Churchill and grandmother, Mrs. Seth Jocelyn Sr., of Kingston visit- ed Mr. and Mrs. Neil Jocelyn and children Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Benton Tait and little daughters of Delphi Falls were Saturday guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Ribstein. Mrs. Gary Chauncey of Sau- gerties spent Saturday with her sister, Mrs. Erich Wilkens, and family. Bruce Bockholt of Delavan, Wis., spent three weeks with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claus Dammann. He made the trip by plane. Elise Brigham of Kingston is staying at the Wallace home for the ski seaison. She is an instructor at Belleayre Mt. ski center. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fager of Fleischmanns entertained 14 guests at a cocktail and dinner party at Pine Hill Arms Sun- day evening. Have Third Son A son, Darren Patrick, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Whitaker Jan. 12 at Margaret- ville Memorial hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and is the Whitakers’ third son. Travis Watkins celebrated Native Succumbs Private funeral services for Marshall J. Kelly of Tillson, a Shandaken native who died Thursday in Veterans hospital in Albany after a long illness, were held Friday morning in Kingston. Cremation followed, and burial of the ashes will be in Salt Lake City. Mr. Kelly, a veteran of World War 2, was the son of the late William and Anna Gubiza Kelly. His parents rushed him to the Benedictine hospital emergency room, where three stitches were taken to close the wound. On Sunday his twin sister woke up with the chickenpox. Joseph Gilsinger celebrated his seventh birthday Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Quick, Walter Gilsinger of W it- tenberg and Donna Rowe were guests at the Gilsinger home to help celebrate. Bobby Ostrander returned to Buffalo State University col- lege Sunday after spending the holidays with bis father and brother. Young Couple Wed By Town Justice

Pine HiU, Jan. 18.—Donm T. Osterhoudt of Kingston, daugh­ter of Donald Osterhoudt of Fleischmanns and Mrs. Joyce Kelly of Pine Hill, and Kevin Churchill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Churchill of Zena, were united in marriage Jan. 7 by Town Justice Edwin L. France at his home in this vil­lage. The double ring service was used in the presence of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Churchill and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Osterhoudt.

The couple was attended by Diane Wurzburg of Shokan and Robert Churchill, brother of the bridegroom. A reception followed at the Scandinavian Village at Mount Tremper. The couple is living at Kings­ton.

Onteora Girl Will Study in Bolivia

Kathy Kreissman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J, E^reissman of Woodstock, has been selected by American Field Service International Scholarships as A m e r i c a n s Abroad student. She will leave New York Feb. 1 for a year of travel and study in Bolivia, South America. After a two- day stopover in La Paz, Boliv­ia’s largest city on the Equator, Kathy will fly to Santa Cruz, where the Oscar Suarez Man- cilla family will be Kathy’s hosts until February 1974.

Meanwhile the AFS Onteora chapter is searching for a fam­ily that will host an overseas student for the coming year. The youngster will live with the family and attend classes at Onteora high school.

Aside from food costs and incidental expenses, the host family incurs no debt in hosting a student. The local chapter raises the annual fee, which when supplemented by what­ever contributions the student can afford, covers AFS program expenses.

AFS also extends a monthly allowance directly to the stu­dent to cover incidental per­sonal expenses. AFS extends medical coverage to its stu­dents.

Mrs. Vivian Moscowitz, presi­dent of the Onteora AFS chap­ter, may be contacted for de­tails by interested families.

Joe Phelan and Bob Terwilliger led the winners with 18 apiece, and Greg Garcia and Mike Clinton scored 19 apiece for New Paltz.
