As a result of the fracas, Officer Kinhorn sustained a deep gash on his leg, necessitating several stitch- es. According to Chief George E. Keating, there have been several complaints from Main street resi- dents regarding motorists parking in front of their home* and play- ing their car radios late at night and early in the morning. Chief Keating said that he had instructed Officer Einhorn to see to it that, the practice was-stopped. He approached the vehicle, found Kalmar in it and aaked'hinv to tune the radio down. Kalmar, he said, complied but as soon as he turned away the radio was tuned loudly again. He then came back to the car and ordered Kalmar to turn the radio off. In- stead of complying, Kalmar is al- leged to' have left the machine to begin a quarrel with the policeman, la the melee, Kalmar pushed Oft- cer Einhorn into the window, which broke with a craih that was heard all over the neighborhood. Persons, who rushed to the scene, said it was a miracle that' the patrolman was not more severely cut about the body. As a result of the fracas, OfficerKinhorn sustained a deep gash onhis leg, necessitating several stitch-es.

According to Chief George E.Keating, there have been severalcomplaints from Main street resi-dents regarding motorists parkingin front of their home* and play-ing their car radios late at nightand early in the morning. ChiefKeating said that he had instructedOfficer Einhorn to see to it that,the practice was-stopped.

Early Monday morning, aroundthree o'clock, Officer Einhornstates, he heard a radio playing ina parked car. He approached thevehicle, found Kalmar in it andaaked'hinv to tune the radio down.Kalmar, he said, complied but assoon as he turned away the radiowas tuned loudly again. He thencame back to the car and orderedKalmar to turn the radio off. In-stead of complying, Kalmar is al-leged to' have left the machine tobegin a quarrel with the policeman,la the melee, Kalmar pushed Oft-cer Einhorn into the window,which broke with a craih that washeard all over the neighborhood.Persons, who rushed to the scene,said it was a miracle that' thepatrolman was not more severelycut about the body.
