Amazon, is an American electronic commerce and cloud computing company with headquarters in Seattle Washington.

It is the largest Internet-based retailer in the United States. Amazon.com started as an online bookstore, later

diversifying to sell DVDs,  Blurays, CDs, video downloads/streaming, MP3 downloads/streaming, audiobook downloads/streaming , software, video games ,electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys and jewelry.

The company also produces consumer electronics—notably, Amazon Kindle e-book readers,Fire tablets, Fire TV and Fire Phone

] Amazon also sells certain low-end products like USB cables under its in-house brand AmazonBasics.

Snapdeal was started on 4 February 2010 as a daily deals platform but expanded in September 2011 to become an online marketplace.

Snapdeal has grown to become one of the largest online marketplace in India offering an assortment of 10 million products across diverse categories from over 100,000 sellers, shipping to 5,000

In March 2015, Snapdeal entered into the financial services marketplace by acquiring a majority stake of RupeePower which provides a digital platform for financial products to customers. Mr. Tejasvi Mohanram, the founder of RupeePower would continue to be the MD&CEO of the company.

In April 2015, Snapdeal acquired mobile-payments company FreeCharge.com.

In September 2015, Snapdeal acquired Reduce Data, a programmatic display advertising platform

the same page, but on Snapdeal you have to click on certain headers to know all the detail of the product

Homepage-Homepage of Amazon looks dull and un-interactive ,

whereas homepage of Snapdeal looks vibrant, attractive and very interactive too.

Pricing-The pricing of Amazon is slightly more costly than

Snapdeal.Snapdeal offers more Discounts & less delivery charges

as compared to Amazon.Payment System- There is a special collaboration

between freecharge and snapdeal, but there is no such collaboration of Amazon with any other party.

Delivery-As of now the delivery of Amazon can be termed faster

and better than snapdeal with its 1-day delivery service.
