Introduction
• Tobacco Smoking is the practice where tobacco is burned and the vapors either tasted or inhaled.
• Smoking is the most common method of consuming tobacco, and tobacco is the most common substance smoked.
• As of 2000, smoking is practiced by some 1.22 billion people, and men are more likely to smoke than women.

• 56 percent men and 20 percent women in Pakistan are regular smokers.
• Pakistani people consume more than 65 billion every year on smoking.
• More than 19 brands of cigarettes are available in the market every tenth rupee that the government of Pakistan spends comes from tobacco revenues.
• Promotion of smoking and tobacco products is not illegal in Pakistan

on children and teenagers.
