(the famous “Red Rider” Truck), faith in the future

and a lot of hard work. He developed the Smithco

bunker rake, an immediate success because it was

Our Ball Field Maintenance Systems consist of 4 elements:

MID-MOUNTEDThese mount under the center of themachine and are designed to loosen just thetop layer of the baseball/softball infield. Thisis the item that brings an increased level ofsafety to the players.

• Spring Tine Scarifier: Chews into the fieldsurface but provides increased operatorsafety by skimming over hidden items suchas base spikes or pockets. It also protectsyour fine grass should the operator strayoff of base paths.

• Steel Knife Blade Scarifier (with or withoutchisel points) are the most aggressive scarifi-er tool. They have been proven on countlessball fields to provide the surface you need toprotect your players.

• Nail Bar Scarifier: The spikes are commonnails available at any hardware store, any-where. Length adjusts as the spikes wear.Center mounting insures even pressureacross its full width. Far superior to rear-mounted “nail drag” devices.

FRONT-MOUNTED• The easiest to use plow blades ever. Level
