Denver: ATCMTD
Denver was awarded the U.S. DOT grant:
Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management
Technologies Deployment Program
(ATCMTD)
The ATCMTD funds cutting-edge transportation technologies
to reduce congestion and to improve the safety of our
transportation system.
Denver: ATCMTD
1. Connected Freight: Improve congestion by better
synchronizing traffic signals with freight vehicle movement
through Denver.
2. Connected Traffic Management Center and Fleet: Provide
real-time traffic data by equipping City vehicles with this
technology.
3. Connected Pedestrian: Make crossings safer by extending
walk times and alerting oncoming vehicles to pedestrians
ahead.
