Smart Parking Sensor Model Number: WMDS-208X321IS Main Features: This Smart Parking Sensor is designed to detect the state (empty or occupied) of a parking space based on magnetic field sensing. It communicates with the IoT AP/Gateway using a LoRaWAN protocol standard for long range wide area (LPWAN) deployments. Because of its long range, high penetration and high sensitivity capabilities, it is a much more cost effective way for service providers to deploy a Smart Parking System as it minimizes the number of required AP/Gateways. Moreover, it prolongs battery time compering to other solutions because of the LoRaWAN low power and star topology nature. The Smart Parking Sensor is part of a Smart Parking System that includes a user guiding smartphone application that navigates drivers to empty parking spaces near their destination. The system also supports a wireless digital side road signs that display in real-time the number of free parking spaces in specific parking lots or roads. The Smart Parking System improves tremendously the service given by municipalities and parking lots owners. It saves time and drivers frustration as well as fuel and air pollution.
