230V power supply from Maxem

Maxem measures the power supply as follows:

• Amperage:divisiblecurrentcoilsmeasurethecurrentthroughthephasewires.

• Voltage: internal voltmeter in Maxem with the voltage from the 230V power supply.

For a correctmeasurement it is necessary to know fromwhich phaseMaxem is fed. In

Option 4.4 - Connecting EV-Box charging station

Install a circuit breaker or earth leakage circuit breaker at the maximal

power available. See p. 10.

Follow the installation instructions of the charging station. These

instructions can be found in the installationmanual of the charging

station.

Place a suitable UTP (CAT5 or CAT6) of the EV-Box to Maxem. (To prevent electromagnetic

interferencewiththeRS485connection,itisrecommendedtouseFTPCAT6cableat

After successful installation, Maxem sends a current limiting value to the charging station. In case of non-successful installation, this is not the case. This results in OVERLOAD OF THE POWER SUPPLY. Cohere should therefore always give OK for a successful installation.
