The RP-1AH is designedspecifically for space limitedwork areas where componentshave to be placed precisely andquickly. Despite the RP-1AH‘sfootprint of only 200 x160 mmit features a reachable range of230 mm and a handlingpayload of up to 1 kg.

The RP-1AH provides a uniquemechanical system. It placescomponents on a rectangularwork envelope of 150 x105 mmproviding a repeatability of+/-0.005 mm and a cycle periodof <0.5 s per pick and place.Simultaneously the Z-axisrotates at a max. speed of3.000 °/s. These performancevalues allow a considerableincrease in micro handlingproductivity and quality.

Flexibility and MultitaskingOperating System

Due to its compact design, theRP-1AH can often be integrateddirectly into an existingmanufacturing location.Additionally, the RP-1AH’smultitasking operating systemsupports parallel processing.Thus it can perform furtherfunctions besides movementand communication withperipheral devices, e.g.transferring signals. The heartof the RP-1AH is the newCR2-532 controller including a64-bit RISC processor. In case ofproduction changes this newcontroller, which can beprogrammed easily by meansof the standard software MELFABASIC IV, perfectly meets theindustrial requirements
