PRAYER MEETINGS

Kindergarten outreach to Bukit Beruntung On 29th Jan, members of our Church Kindergarten committee went to Bukit Beruntung, some 50 minutes north of the Church to visit and fellowship with the Orang Asli people living in the area.

This connection, sparked by two of the orang asli children from there coming to study in our kindergarten, was eye-opening in showing the needs of the children and their parents not only for education but also to know Jesus Christ more deeply.

To prepare for the visit, many of them spent the morning cooking their indigenous dishes for sharing, and when our committee members arrived, they not only made them feel welcomed but also gathered around them when the Word of God was shared.

We pray God will guide our Church to grow a deeper connection with this indigenous group.

PRAYER FOCUS & REQUESTS Monday 25 February As we have fallen away from Him in so many ways, ask God to help us remember from where we

have fallen, Repent, and then return to our first love (Rev. 2:4-5). Pray that we be ever watching and praying, being ready for the coming of Christ. Ask that we may

live in a way pleasing to God, so that He might say to us, “Well done, good and faithful serv-ant” (Ma�. 25:21).

Tuesday 26 February Malaysia: Li� up to the Lord our rulers, government and peoples of this na�on so that Malaysia will

have peace and will prosper (1 Tim. 2:1-4; Isa. 60:3). For the refugees, pray for protec�on in the lands to where they have fled. Pray that His people in

these countries reach out to the refugees with compassion and understanding, showing these dis-placed peoples that there is a God in heaven who cares for their every need.

Wednesday 27 February Malaysia: Every place where the enemy has caused decep�on in order to destroy, ask for His truth

and light to conquer. Bring every injus�ce before His throne as we seek His face, beseeching Him for His mercy and grace

upon all who are oppressed and unjustly treated. Thursday 28 February Church: Ask the Lord to restore all that has been broken in rela�onships with Him, families and soci-

ety. Ask the Lord to build His Church into completeness as His people grow in grace, experience personal

and corporate revival, and passionately reach out to the poor, marginalized, needy and imprisoned. Friday 1 March Persecuted Church: Pray for those imprisoned and being kept away from their families for Christ.

Pray that their peace, joy, and hope overflow even as they suffer. Church: Ask God to make His people generous in giving their �me and gi�s for the benefit of others.

Ask that the love of Christ will be evident in the care Chris�ans give to each other. Saturday 2 March Church: Pray that God would help the leaders and pastors to shepherd the church according to His

will, proving daily to be examples to their flocks (1 Pet. 5:2-3). Ask God to raise up faithful men and women within TMCPJ who will pass on to others the spiritual

truths they themselves have received from other mature believers (2 Tim. 2:2). Sunday 3 March Sunday Service: Pray that the preaching of God’s word be filled with the power of His Holy Spirit,

and that His words piercing and �mely. Ask Him to open our eyes to see, and do what He is doing. Pray for willing and obedient hearts to do what He desires of us. Uphold all worship enablers that they will serve with the joy of the Lord.

Uphold those in the midst of pain, loss and illness. Pray for His healing grace and mercies. Pray for Christ to reveal Himself to those blinded by the god of this world and other false religions (2 Cor. 4:4).
