Given the equation, state the slope and the y-intecept:

Select 2 points on the line and COUNT for slope using Rise . This is m.

Run Plug m and b into y = mx + b

2) 8x + 2y = 10 and x – 7 = 4y

2. Identify the y-intercept (0, b) and plot it.

3. Beginning at b, move Up and Down, then to the Right for the slope (Rise/Run).

4. Connect the points with a straight line.
