Do you read magazines often? If yes, please specify what particular magazines.

This beginning question was just to find out what types of magazines my target audience is interested in and how often they read them. This can help with deciding how often to publish my magazine.

Do you have any hobbies or interests?

This was so I knew the types of things my target audience liked to do. This helps with knowing what types of activities I should include in my magazine.

Are your hobbies or interests more physically or mentally entertaining?

I was interested in knowing whether my target audience’s hobbies were more physically demanding such as netball or hockey, or mentally challenging such as chess. Knowing this can help with keeping my target audience interested in my magazine; as I will know the preferred style of hobbies.

Have you found previous student magazines useful? If No, why?

I want my magazine to not only be entertaining but useful. I don’t want my target audience to see my magazine as a waste of time. This question can help prevent this from happening.

Have you found previous student magazines interesting? If No, why?

I want to make my magazine as interesting as possible, this question helps with why previous magazines have not been as successful in this area. Overall this will help improve my magazine.

What are your main concerns regarding six form life?

This question helps me relate more to my target audience. More support and help can be offered in my magazine.

Do you feel that you are informed a lot about activities around the school?

Students are not always fully informed about the school and school activities. This question helps with deciding whether I should make the information an additional feature in my magazine.

What feature of a student magazine do you value most?

This question just defines the main features I should include in my magazine.
