  • 20. Francesca Levine Future Plans: Work as a nurse for the U.S. Army and hang out with my husband! Great nursing memory: Eating lunch after class with fellow nurses. Conversation usually involved whatever bodily functions we were learning about that day...Yum!

Ihope to pursue a DNP in Pediatrics or Nurse Anesthesia.Memory: After making the decision to take his son off of life support, a father told methat he is so thankful for what nurses do, how kind and compassionate we are, andthat he will always be thankful that his son was brought to us. A moment I will neverforget- this is why I am a nurse.

Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised that it would be worth it.

Nicole Schaefer My favorite nursing memory: its a tie between our entire trip to Belize(Painting that bathroom was probably one of my favorite and least favorite days) and Sigrid literally pushing me into a patients room on one of our first days of our pediatric rotation.Future nursing plans: work in Pediatrics for the rest of my life and hopefully dosome volunteering in other countries in need.

After some serious nagging on my part, I finally convinced him to play cards with me. His laughter, smiles, and jokes were priceless!Future plans: Working on an Oncology/Hospice floor at Mayo Clinic
