1.  You will share your communication background with me this week.

2.  We will learn about genre in the technical and professional workplace during the next two or three weeks.

3.  We will do hands-on work to learn techniques for “reading the minds” of users of a product leading to a group assignment that you will submit late in September

4.  You will then put it together in a final project, which you will work on for most of the rest of the semester.

5.  Along the way, you will write memos to me, communicate with the whole class, and help each other in small groups
