Welcome to Iowa’s AYP Alternate Assessments for the 2014-2015 school year. This is the eight presentation in a series of eight that address Iowa’s AYP Alternate Assessments. In this presentation we will examine the IAAS assessment process.

5 Step Assessment
Administration Process
In this section we will examine a 5 step process for IAAS administration.

• IDOE
– Sends Security Access Codes for new users to the
IAAS Online System to District IAA Coordinators
• District Assessment Coordinator
– Sends access code to new teachers registering for
an account in the IAAS online system
– Ensures building administrators have a registered
account in the IAAS Online system
