Admission Requirementsand Tuition

Admission Requirements• Be at least 16 years old

• Graduate from an accredited high school or eligible home-school program

• Meet either A, B or C and D below:

A) ACT composite 21+ (or SAT 980+) and high school GPA 2.7+*

B) ACT composite 19+ (or SAT 900+) and high school GPA 3.0+*

C) Minimum score of 680 on GED (or HiSET 75+)

D) Complete the following 16 high school units:

• English, 4 units

• Algebra, 2 units

• Geometry, trigonometry, advanced mathematics or calculus, 2 units

• Natural science (including at least a year of biology, chemistry or physics), 3 units

• American history, 1 unit

• European history, world history or world geography, 1 unit

• A single foreign language, 2 units

• Visual & performing arts, 1 unit

*on a 4.0 grading scale

NOTE: Home-school students or graduates from non-accredited high schools must have a 21+ ACT and 2.85+ GPA or a minimum HiSET of 75.

UT Martin wants you to Soar in Four by taking 15 credit hours per semester in order to stay

on track to complete your undergraduate degree in four years. We have many services in
