DESCRIPTION

I am currently the President of CSUF Students Recycle, where I mainly encourage students and communities to recycle. I pick up recycles from members and sell it at the local recycle centers. All the proceeds are donated to local Soup Kitchen in Costa Mesa. I also raise money for Toiletries drives, Sleeping Bag drives, Trick or Cans Food drive (Collaborated with CSUF Volunteer Center), and other community services events to help out our community. In 2012, I was honor to organize a packaging event to support Vietnamese Orphan Kids in Vietnam. It was a movement to end hunger in our lifetime. 75 volunteers helped reach the goal to package 10,000+ meals on September 28th. Everybody was willing to work hard together to create a world without hunger. One of my favorite activities is to volunteer at Orange County Park. I volunteer at Orange County Parks to help clean up, plant trees and maintain the parks which can bring lots more benefits for community as well as educating children coming here. Last semester, Daniel Ostrin from the Daily Titan talking our monthly Restoration Program at OC Park interviewed me . I was proud to represent Cal State Fullerton to volunteer at the park and we left a good imprint on Orange Count Community.

The World Vision 40 Hour Runathon is an annual event at

Wellington College (This year will be Wellington College's

16th), where students run a circuit lap around the school for

donations. The general idea is students get sponsored to

run a certain amount of laps. This will help raise funds for

various projects World Vision supports in Tanzania.
