Welcome to Issue 11

It’s hard to believe that we have hit the three year milestone already! It seems like

only yesterday I was the only member of the SKIN team screaming at InDesign...who could

have guessed at all the amazing people that would pass through our virtual doors? So

can we please take a 2 minute time out to give everyone a little round of applause as I say

thank you and send out lots of hugs.

Photographer Nick Parisse has many mesmerizing styles all encompassing the beauty

that is the human form in all its varieties. For his Downtown series he embarked on a

journey of reportage to portray the lives of sex workers in New York. Each individual

face with its own unique expression, lines and persona conveying each woman’s story,

every one so beautiful and fascinating.
