The King's Private Road was a road closed to public transport. It ran between the two royal palaces, namely St. James's Palace, at the west of the City of London to Hampton Court on the Thames at Richmond, a distance of about 11 miles. 2037* Peace Treaty for the South African War, 1899-1900, in silver (70mm) by E. This is one of the fi rst jewels issued for George Beech Lodge No.2897 which was named in 1902 and consecrated on 12 April 1902. Its fi rst location was at the Masonic Hall, Severn Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.
