Free Puzzles – March 2016 In Sixex your goal is to use your deduction skills and the provided clues to fill in a 4 by 4 grid with the correct configuration of numbers. The numbers 1 to 10 and six X’s (with a value of 0) are present in each puzzle. How to Play: The clue in the upper right hand corner indicates how many boxes containing numbers are bordering this box (sides and diagonal). The clue in the upper left hand corner indicates the sum of these bordering numbers. Hint: It can be helpful to first determine where numbers are contained and where there are only X’s. You may make a mark in the lower right corner to indicate that this box must contain a number. (You may also use this box to indicate that all clues in this box have been successfully fulfilled.) Each number is used only once so cross numbers out from the # bank once they are used. SIXEX 1. Free Puzzles – March 2016

In Sixex your goal is to use your deduction skills and the provided clues to fill in a 4 by 4 grid with the correct

configuration of numbers. The numbers 1 to 10 and six X’s (with a value of 0) are present in each puzzle.

How to Play:

The clue in the upper right hand corner indicates how many boxes containing numbers are bordering this

box (sides and diagonal). The clue in the upper left hand corner indicates the sum of these bordering

numbers.

Hint:

It can be helpful to first determine where numbers are contained and where there are only X’s. You may make

a mark in the lower right corner to indicate that this box must contain a number. (You may also use this box

to indicate that all clues in this box have been successfully fulfilled.) Each number is used only once so cross

numbers out from the # bank once they are used.
