Yes.

Was prescribed the antibiotic 'Cipro' off and on for two years.

I never use pharmaceuticals, but I got an ear infection (and I know exactly why and how I

Dena I read where Indian Tobacco (Lobelia Inflata- not a tobacco at all) can be made into a

tea by soaking the leaves in water for a few days in a cool dark spot. This tea can then be

poured into an ear cavity (with head tilted on side) left for a minute or so, It's supposed to

clear up any ear infection.

Yes, be VERY careful of their chemicals. I have been known to leave the office, look things

up, call back and get a less toxic, less expensive, Rx in the same 'family' of drugs, that has a

long track record and side effects I'll chance, instead of their original Rx. Which probably was

the latest from the pharma representative and counted for his next vacation/study cruise.

I am going back on preventative medicine with homeopathy, as well as healing with it (unless

it's something like bone fracture which needs expert 'setting'), but no more Pharma. I am

inclined to think that you are spot on about the vacation! And guess what? The attached

drugstore told me I had to pay, because my Medical Plan was invalid. I paid ($100 + - HOW

can people afford to pay for these things??), then called my plan advisor who said 'What are

they trying to pull. Your number IS valid!'. HE was angry! He told me to go back and get a

refund, and when I did go back, the drug store told me 'it was not paid'. I insisted and

insisted, after which they 'found' the problem/payment! Then because I did not have the bill

with me (I had not planned on going...I just happened to be in the area so did not bring it),

they told me I would give me a STORE credit, because 'they did not know how much I

paid!!!!!!. How dumb is that reasoning. Anyway, I told them 'absolutely not', and the person

'found' a copy of my bill, and finally, a refund was given. Very Superstitious, to quote good ol'

Stevie Wonder'!!!

My daughter in-law used some oil (not sure what kind) and soaked a few small pieces of

garlic clove in it and then put it in her ear and it worked almost immediately. I've read that if

you use garlic oil and some other oil it is very good. Garlic oil alone is too strong.

My mother was prescribed Cipro for staph infection that she had following a surgery - grrr,

dirty hospital! OU Medical Center OKC - which messed her up for a LONG time. She still has

various problems, including tendons - carpal tunneling requiring surgery, but she still has

problems after 2 or 3 years now!

Colloidal silver can be very dangerous. There are no known benefits for it taken orally and it

can do a lot of harm. Making your own just increases these risks. Is your skin blue yet? Keep

drinking it, it will be.It will eventually kill you.

Not true, Debbi. Colloidal Silver is very safe - and natural - and will not harm you if used

correctly. You will only turn blue if you drink quarts of it every day for a very long time. Easy

to make your own. It will be the only thing to save your life if you get drug resistant MRSA.

You need to investigate for yourself and stop blindly believing what the pharmaceutical

companies want you to believe. It's all about the $$$ for them.

Thank you very much. My cardio was trying to talk me into a heart procedure there and you

saved me the effort of looking it up. My mom got staph in a knee replacement at St.

Anthony's, they went back in two more times with their strategy at 'fixing' it. My cardio is at St

Anthony's but loves a particular surgeon at OU Med Ctr. Seems like the private hospital

Mercy may be the only place worth using in the city.


I wouldn't take my dog to OU Medical Center!! After Mom's incident, I found out that a LOT of

people's parents and family have died there from staph. It is scary!! To me, OU is a good

place to go to die - or get killed! I'd stick with Mercy because I have heard no bad thing about

them and we have had very fine experiences there (brother is battling Stage 4 cancer - and

WINNING!) and Mom had a few incidents post-surgery that we would NOT go back to OU.

Mom's trouble started on 12-21-12 and she still has not recovered!

His treatment is Zometa to build density to his bones (he may not need this any longer

because he's been on it for about 5 years now) but the main source of cancer was treated

with female hormones and a steroid. This has been very successful and cancer is "dead"

(my brother's word from his oncologist - he also said remission on time so I need to get back

in to his doc with him next time!) but he still takes the hormones & steroids. He has zero

problems with appetite but rather contrary, he eats like a horse sometimes. But even tho the

cancer is in remission, he has 2 tumors on his spine which cause a great amount of pain so

he takes opioids. I keep track of his physical functions, even tho he does not want to tell me

sometimes, but since I'm the chief cook and everything else, he eats whatever I cook so I

keep him on track. But I sure am glad to know about the meat store at Tuttle! I don't live far

from there and I'm going to take a drive over there soon and check it out!
