Let’s know some facts about future tough times lying ahead all of us….
AND ON TOP OF IT!!!!
What is Placement Status of Reputed Institutes last year!!
What is Our Situation???
According to the recent survey, Most of the Private Engineering Institutes in India will find it difficult to provide placement to even 20-25% of their
qualified students…..
What we can do• Use the time very wisely and constructively. (Let’s do not waste a
minute..)
• Be focused and Regulated. Do not be swayed by various addiction/distractions and waste valuable time.
• Work Hard on your technical concepts. Improve your Communication, Presentation and Aptitude skills. Prepare/Equip yourself for the Placement to be offered by institute and RGTU in coming 1-2 years.
BUT IS IT ENOUGH?? As per Increasing slowdown trend
in the market, you should not be satisfied in just getting first class B.E. degree from RGTU (which is not a great destination for cos!!), but in addition must focus on………..
Other Alternatives & Opportunities…
Spend extra time in preparing for Entrance Exam for higher studies e.g., GATE (M.Tech), CAT (M.B.A), IES etc. or Entrance exams of short term certified diploma courses by reputed institutes e.g., C-DAC, EFY etc which are quite helpful in fetching the jobs.
Opportunities…
• Shine your Communication and Software skill (Languages as C, C++, Java etc.), Networking skill in extra time as today 80% jobs are in these areas especially in Walk in for freshers.
• Use valuable time to prepare for Public Sector Units e.g., BHEL, BSNL, NTPC etc, & Banking Services.
Huge Competition ahead!!!
High Level of Competition- Hard Work Required
What’s the Level of Preparation/ Hard Work Required
High Level of Competition- Hard Work Required
The class of 2012 is set for further misery as a third of applications for graduate posts have come already from those who left university last summer or earlier, the study from High Fliers Research showed.
