1 Introduction

This document details the Internet Options settings required in order to enable administrative staff to access the Student Information System (SIS). We also discuss the browser requirements needed to access the Self-Service web pages.

Maintaining the security of SIS and the desktops of each end user is of utmost importance. SIS requires specific browser settings for administrative users. By adhering to these instructions SIS can run successfully while maintaining desktop security.

2 Requirements for Administrative Staff

2.1 Introduction

To ensure access to the Student Information System (SIS), administrative staff must be running Internet Explorer browser version 7.0 or higher on a system with Windows 10, Windows 7, or Vista. We no longer support Windows 95 or XP as an operating system for SIS.

2.2 Internet Options Settings

In Internet Explorer, click Tools

and then click Internet options.

Click on the Security tab
