He was a cream-colored shih-tzu…

…who still believed he was Chinese royalty.

One Fourth of July…

…Sir Georgie’s owner, Chris, left him outside in the backyard.

When Chris returned, he saw that Sir Georgie was gone.

!?

A year later, Chris got a strange phone call.

“Hello, we have your dog. Here is our address.”

Chris was unfamiliar with that address, so he put on his sleuth gear and got to work

on google….

The address was in Port Charlotte, FL.

…three hours away from Miami!

“How did he cross The Everglades?” Chris wondered.

Was Sir Georgie able to fly?

Was he abducted by extra-terrestrials?

Was he friends with an alligator named Renaux?

Chris packed his car and trekked across the river of grass.

In The Everglades, Chris saw many wonderful creatures like…

…like the blue egret…

Wussup?

…the American alligator…

…and the Florida Panthers.

Finally, Chris made it to The Animal Welfare League of Port Charlotte.

Sir Georgie was in his pen with some food and water.

Sir Georgie’s hair was long and he looked scared.

When Chris picked him up, Sir Georgie was in disbelief that his true owner

was holding him.

Once outside, he realized that he had been found.

…then they headed home.

Sir Georgie went into his home after one and a half years of being missing…

He saw Vishnu and rested his head on his favorite pillow.
