Sir Bobby Robson

1. He was voted The Sun readers manager of the year.

2. He would have joined Barcelona in 1981 but they refused to pay Ipswich compensation.

3. When he was sacked by Fulham in 1968 he was the 686th manager to be sacked since world war 11.

4.He led England to the semi finals of the world cup in 1990.

5. He was first diagnosed with cancer in 1991.

6.He died age 76 in 2009 at his home in County Durham and was born in County Durham in 1933 Langley Park.

7. In 2002 he was knighted by the queen.

8. His full name is Sir Robert William Robson.

9. He was diagnosed with cancer 5 times

He now has his own foundation that help people with cancer and to try and keep people staying healthy because 60% of the UK are not.

There goal is to help as many people as possible with cancer because more people have cancer now than before and over a quarter of a million people across the UK are diagnosed with cancer right now.
