01Fire Fighting Products & Hazmat / Chemical
With the introduction of mandatory EHS policies into many industries, companies today have begun to include Emergency Response Teams into their work structures. Emergency Response Teams have the primary role of containing fire and accidents involving hazardous material and chemicals until the arrival of governmental agencies for further assessment and control of the situation. They play a critical role in the overall safety, health and environment plan, and their effectiveness is usually determined by their training and the quality of their equipment. Their gear and personal protective equipment protect them from harm and should always be of the best quality.

Descent Systems
There is always a risk of falling when working at heights. In the event of an accident , our fall protection system deploys efficiently, bringing the casualty down to level ground quickly and safely.
Emergency Response Planning is an integral and essential part of disaster planning in any industrial facility. The emergency response equipment allows you to respond quickly and effectively to hazards, which would greatly reduce costs associated with cleanup and liability.
In the event of terrorist attacks, natural disasters, gas leakages, chemical disasters, black-out or fire, you need to be well-equipped to be able to respond to these disasters at the fastest possible time. Leeden National Oxygen Ltd offers advanced and reliable equipment for such needs.
The patented Rollgliss® system is a versatile and efficient state-of-the-art modular rescue and descending rope rescue system. It will get personnel down safely from high places when quick escape is required. Either angled or sloped descent models are available to provide complete versatility and flexibility for any job site or work environment. No power source or special skills or tools are required.
• The patented Rollgliss® system is a versatile and efficient state-of-the-art modular ascending and descending rope rescue system
• Includes R350 rope unit, pulleys, rope control device, securing strap, anchoring sling, carabiners and carrying bag

07Evacuation And Rescue Equipment
In the event of a fire or other emergencies which require a building to be evacuated quickly, the usual method of evacuating a person who is unable to walk is to carry him down the stairs. This method usually involves four rescuers, and this method tends to restrict others from using the stairways.
Here, we offer an innovative and easy to use device which requires just one rescuer to help evacuate the person to safety.
Suspension Trauma Safety Strap• Safety accessory that can be attached to most
harness• Help relieve negative effects of suspension trauma
after fall• Relieve worker’s pressure through suspending body
in stand-up position• Fast, easy and efficient way to install onto harness• Extremely compact and lightweight design

Showers And Eyewash
A large number of manufacturing process and work places involve chemical that are hazardous to people. Therefore there are risks to these workers being contaminated by these chemicals and the need to quickly and effectively wash them in the event of an accident.
Leeden NOX Safety offers solutions to the customer’s special needs - from simple units to innovative engineered systems.
Introducing Axion™ MSR by Haws, the first and only eyewash and eye/face wash specifically designed to operate in concert with standard healthcare protocols and the natural function of the human eye.
This exciting new patent-pending product has a number of features that set it apart from any other eyewash on the market:
• Inverted eyewash and eye/face wash streams• Laminar flow eyewash streams for greater
stream consistency• Zero vertical velocity stream engineering for
maximum victim comfort• Each model is field configurable as either an
eyewash or eye/facewashWebsite: www.hawsco.com/resources/video-library
Protection for the Human Eye - The Lacrimal System
The human eye is equipped with an automatic lubricating and cleansing mechanism, called the lacrimal system. It consists of the lacrimal gland which produces tears, the ducts that channel tears from the lacrimal gland to the ocular surface, and the lacrimal puncta, which are drains that channel excess fluids away from the ocular surface. More importantly, the lacrimal puncta drains excess fluids directly into the nasal cavity. This process is the reason why your nose runs when you cry. If, for example, a chemical is introduced into the eye, nature’s own cleansing mechanism can serve to force the contaminant into the nasal cavity, where it can be breathed into the lungs or swallowed. The idea approach in chemical or particulate injuries is to sweep contaminants away from the lacrimal puncta.

Eyepod
7620 eyePOD
With the attractive logo facing upward, the AXION™ eyePOD™ will allow your faucet to function normally.Water passes through the eyePOD™ and exits through the built-in aerator under the unit.
Rotating the front of the eyePOD™ one half-turn (in either direction) brings the eyewash spouts to the top and automatically resets the unit to operate as an eyewash. Water is discharged from the twin AXION™ eyePOD™ eyewash nozzels for a soothing irrigation experience. The downward orientation of the eyewash nozzels when not in use keep them free of dust and debris accumulation...and, their antimicrobial treatment minimizes the risk of damage due to mold and mildew growth.
The eyePOD™ adapts to any faucet to function as a safety eyewash when needed. In-built flow control and high temperature bypass ensures the upmost safety for users

EMERGENCY SHOWERS AND EYEWASH
www.leedennox.com
The first 10-15 seconds after exposure to a hazardous substance is critical. Delaying treatment, even for a few seconds may cause serious injuries. Emergency showers and eyewash stations provide on-the-spot decontamination. They allow workers to flush away hazardous substances that can cause injuries. Emergency showers and eyewash stations are necessary to minimize the effects of accidental exposure to chemicals.
If eye protection fails, continuous washing with plain water for 15 minutes should be administered, or serious damage to the eyes may occur. An eyewash should be connected with piping no smaller then 3/4” IPS. All eye and eye/face wash units should be attached to a drain by a code approved method to facilitate ease of testing.
