Place the images on your eclips cutting mat. Load the cutting mat

Apply Old Paper Distress Stain to the wings of the whole girl and

the crown piece. Dry the pieces with a heat tool.

Mist the wing area of the whole girl with Biscotti Perfect Pearls

Mist. Dab away the excess mist with a dry towel and dry with a heat

tool.

Mist the crown piece with Mint Perfect Pearls Mist. Blot away the

excess mist with a dry towel and dry with a heat tool.

Apply a drop of Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls to each round tip on the

crown piece. Set aside to dry.

Mix a small amount of Antique Linen Distress Stain with a mist (or

two) of water onto a craft sheet. Mix the two with a paint brush.

Brush the mixture onto the face and hands of the girl only piece.

Mix a small amount of Faded Jeans Distress Stain with a mist (or two) of water onto a craft sheet. Mix the two with a paint brush.

Color the necklace detail on the stamped image with a Scattered

Straw Distress Stain Marker. Color the hair of the girl with a Tea

Dye (or other color of choice) Distress Stain Marker.

Mix a small amount of Victorian Velvet Distress Stain with a mist (or two) of water onto a craft sheet. Mix the two with a paint brush. Brush the mixture onto

the cheeks of the girl only piece. To help the pink blend well, brush straight water (clean your brush first) and brush over the edges of the cheeks. Blot away any

excess moisture with a dry cloth and dry with a heat tool.

Add a dot of color to the eyes using a Faded Jeans Distress Ink

Marker.

Die cut one heart from Grungepaper using the tall heart from the

Mini Hearts Movers & Shapers set in a base tray.

Color the heart with a generous coat of Worn Lipstick Distress Stain. Let the heart sit a minute to allow the color to soak in. Blot the

excess stain with a dry cloth and heat dry. A second coat may be applied for extra color.

Mist the dried heart with Forever Red Perfect Pearls Mist. Let the

heart sit for a minute, then blot away the excess mist with a dry cloth

and heat dry.

Ink the music stamp from the Joyful Song stamp set with Jet Black

Archival Ink. Stamp two rows of the design on the dried heart.

Ink the edges of all of the pieces using Vintage Photo Distress Ink with an

ink blending tool. Optional wing cut from vellum shown. To cut the wing,

place registration marks on a plain piece of vellum (no stamping needed).

Register the marks and cut the wings on the pieces option.

Apply glue to the back of the girl only piece.Place the girl only piece on top of the piece with wings, which will

serve as base for all of the pieces.

Apply glue to the back of the crown. Place the crown on the

assembled girl, lining it up with the crown on the base layer.

Apply glue to the backs of the four word pieces. Place each word

piece on the assembled girl.

5

Place the Grungepaper heart into the girl’s hand. Adhere it in place

with a strip of red tape.

Apply additional strips of tape on the girls body and the back of the

heart. Place adhesive foam squares on the back of the wings as

shown.

Die cut one piece of colored cardstock using the Vintage Card Making Heart Scallop Card die. Cut the two parts of the heart apart

at the center fold. Emboss the front card piece using the Scallop Heart Doily Textured Impressions folder.

Cut additional pieces out of smooth white cardstock. To cut only the one side, place the cardstock to be cut on the die, lining the left edge

of the paper up with the score line at the center of the card shape. Include as many pages as you would like.

Score a fold line on each of the covers and pages using a scoring

board. Make the score about 3/8” from the straight tab edge.

Stack the covers and pages together. Punch two holes through the tab

end of the covers and pages. Place long fasteners through the holes.

6

Optional: Dress up the tabs by covering them with tissue tape. One piece of tape placed at the scored fold will wrap over the edge to the

fold line on the other side. Trim the top and bottom edges with scissors. Poke a hole through the tape for the brads.

Ink the edges and raised areas of the covers using Vintage Photo

Distress Ink and an ink blending tool.

Remove the backing on the adhesive foam squares and red tape to

adhered the assembled girl to the book cover.

Optional: Place a thin line of adhesive along the back edge of the wings. Adhere them to the girl, adhering them only along the back

edge. When the adhesive is dry, the wings can be curled and shaped upward to add dimension.

Optional: Colored Crinkle Ribbon can be wrapped around the front

cover and tied into a bow on the cover for added embellishment.
