When we are angry we scream and that too is a form of SONG

I can hear you laughing at me, but I PROMISE you it is true.

Would you like to learn a new way to sing which will help you

for the rest of your life?

Now shall we begin?

Take a very deep breath as though you are about to blow up

a balloon and imagine you have lots of candles on your birthday

cake to blow out...blow them slowly outTry this a few times to make sure you can breathe because it will really help you sing

mmore loudly if you have lots of breath in your lungs.

Page 19: Sing Your Heart Out

All these sounds come from India and I play the indian harmoniumwith these sounds sometimes. They are called sacred sounds.THINK OF A SONG LIKE TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR.... YOU CHANGE THE SOUNDS UP AND DOWN DONT YOU. THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME SOUNDS.

HAVE YOU LEARNT THE SCALE OF

WWHEN YOU MOVE UP A SCALE LIKE A LADDER?PRACTISE THAT.

Page 20: Sing Your Heart Out

NOW CHANGE THE WORDS TO

Sing it up the scaleand then down the scale(up the ladder and back down the ladder)

Page 21: Sing Your Heart Out

Now with these sounds there are some special movements TO MAKE WITH YOUR ARMS.

The movements help you make the sounds because you are notworried about singing as you concentrate on making themovements!

You can make yourself an imaginary path or ladder on the flooroor on paper. Then on each sound you step forward up the ladderseven steps and then turn around and go back down the stepswith the sounds.

Hurray!! You have done it all.

Now you have learnt IT --- do it every day before you go toschool or after you come home. It helps you to be calm and makesyour life happy and easy. It helps you to like the children and teachers you don't always like, it helps you not to get angry withyour parents, it helps you take care of yourself and be a little llight in the world. ENJOY!

with love and all my songs to you. Hilary X
