For as long as I can remember, I have loved to take care of people. As a child, I often pretended to be a doctor or nurse and care for my siblings and parents various pretend ailments. I spent many hours creating makeshift casts, crutches and bandages for my “patients”.

When I went to college, I knew I wanted to utilize my childhood desire to help take care of people in my future career, which lead to my decision to become a nurse.
