'Old' Helix fit for forward tracks

● Mirko Planinic from Zagreb working full time now

● Sees hits from FST and FGT

● Still has problems, find pretty bad momentum resolution

● Not exactly clear what is going on Could be problems with magnetic field definition Or simply picking up the wrong hits

● It was suggested to take well defined hits, no smearing etc., and do the fitting

● More news coming Friday

Make sure that GEANT geometries and simulation geometries agree in detail

Keep checking IST/IGT/FST/FGT hits

Using ITTF tracking code for HFT/IST/IGT/SSD

Using old Helix fit code for FST/FGT

Make scripts according to MC requests

As soon as IGT problem is resolved we

can start the MC generation on 2 dedicated

workstations
