PICNIC FUN!!!
The most awaited time of the year,
Yes! Yes! The class picnic.
All work and no play makes Jack
a dull boy. In school with other
activities picnic has its own
specific importance.It provides
special pleasure and serenity in
tough scheduled student life.
Picnics give students an
opportunity to get some practical
experience.
A picnic is always a day of fun, joy and entertainment.
This time my picnic was to Hawally Park.
There were a lot of rides and play areas in the park.
The ride I enjoyed the most was the big slide
I screamed and howled on the roller coaster.

The students of class 4 and 5 were so enthusiastic about
their picnic day. We were going to visit Hawally Park.
Before we boarded the bus, our dear Principal ma’am
wished us an enjoyable trip. There were many rides which
looked awesome! A few looked a bit alarming. Soon
children of many other schools started to come into the park
too. The rides then got crowded, so we munched on snacks
and drank some refreshments and went to play indoors.
After a couple of hours, it was time to leave. We had the
most incredible, fun trip ever!!!

in the grand finale when students from different nationalities came on the
stage holding their national flags. The sight was indeed mesmerising.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS
Children’s day celebrations focus on
children and their enjoyment. It
celebrates the spirit of childhood in a fun
filled and stress-free environment.
This year SIMS celebrated children’s
day on 20th of December 2018. The
students got involved in numerous
activities and events planned carefully to
make it a memorable day.
It was an entire day dedicated to the children.
They enjoyed every bit of it, whether it was
coming to school in colourful clothes or
watching their favourite movie with their
friends. The sports activity was a great success
and so was the Let’s Share Party. The
Planetarium was a new and amazing
experience.
The teachers had organized various cultural programmes
and events for their beloved students which included
scintillating dance performances and dramas. The spoof
on the quirks of different types of parents was really
interesting and so was to see the teachers dressed as
Santas and fairies.
By the day end there was a giggle on every SIMSian as they went back with
memories which can be cherished for the lifetime.
