This is another in a series of bulletins to highlight some helpful product features in the 4010 that you may not beaware exist.

4010 Earth Fault Search

Locating an earth ground fault can be tedious and time consuming, especially if you have to remove field and/orpanel wiring to find it. The 4010 panel has a diagnostic function that can save you time and effort in isolating earthgrounds.

What it does: The 4010 arth !ault "earch diagnostics allows you to locate an earth ground between the panel athe first #$%et isolator device, or between isolator devices.

Benefit:  "ervice "upervisor $ale &rightam 'Little (oc)/*+0 says that this feature -cuts my troubleshooting timehalf on larger systems. Tech (ep $ere) "auls '#ndianapolis/1 reports that this feature -saves about 0 minuteeach time hes searching for a ground. e adds -# love this feature in the 41002, too.

Additional info:  #t is important to note that the 4010 !35 does not function as a fire panel for the duration of anarth !ault search. To access this feature, choose $iagnostics from the igh Level "tatus screen.
