Roast Sirloin Bohemian StyleIngredients:

1kg beef, 50g butter,

40g parsley, 40g carrot, 60g celery,

60g onion, 60g fat, 250ml whipped cream, 4 grains of pepper, 4 grains of new spice, 1 bay-leaf, 30g sugar,

100g flour, lemon

Instructions

First cut the onion and vegetable into slices, fry them a little and add the beef and water. Then put all the spices, the bay-leaf, salt and let the beef stew. When the meat gets tender, take it out. Thicken the sauce with flour mixed with water. Finally add the squeezed lemon juice and sugar, salt and whipped cream into the sauce. Serve it with dumplings.

Poppy-seed cake

Paste: 500g flour,

25g yeast, 70g sugar,

220ml milk, 2 eggs, 10g lemon peel,

pinch of salt, 1 vanilla sugar,

80g vegetable fat

Cake filling: 200g poppy, 25g sugar, 1/4l milk, 10g raisins

Instructions

Mix the yeast with sugar, add a cup of milk and flour. Leave it to rise. Next add other ingredients. Then add the vegetable oil and make the dought. The dough has to be let rise. Then put the filling in the dough. Brush a roasting tin with butter and put the cake on the tin. Finally bake it and dust it with some sugar.
