K A T E S P A D E C O L L A B O R A T I O N This autumn, Kate Spade New York is teaming up with Manhattan-based It-blogger Garance Doré for a collection with a certain je ne sais quoi… Inspired by the Palais Royal in Paris, Toutes Les Filles Sont Folles will feature ladylike silhouettes cut with chunky zippers, oversized sweaters and bright skinny trousers at its stores in Sloane Square and Covent Garden. QI need to add a bit of sparkle to my
jewellery collection. I’d like a statement ring for everyday wear.
What do you recommend?
AIt depends what you mean by
‘everyday wear’, because for me, whether I’m going to Sainsbury’s, or walking my dog, if my fi ngers don’t
look like they’ve been armoured with molten weaponry of epic proportions,
I feel naked. So I’d say invest in something big. It doesn’t have to be diamond-based, there’s so much fun
costume jewellery out there right now. This little (!) Versace gem has caught my eye. It’s like Titanic’s heart of the
ocean, but on your fi nger. Genius. Oversized gold-plated crystal ring

This M I U M I U cameo bracelet (below left), £320, at Net-a-porter, is one of a kind and adds some quirky glamour. For something equally striking, try this Rhinestone link bracelet from A S O S (below), £12
These little gems from M O N I C A V I N A D E R (right),
£270 for three rings, have a luxurious feel.
Alternatively, go for this K A T I E R O W L A N D ring (below), £250,

L A D U R É E M A C A R O O N SIf I were a bribeable head of state, negotiations could be settled by
sending me macaroons. One peep at their pastel sweetness and I’m a weak (but oh so happy) person. So imagine my delight when I saw this
collaboration: Lanvin + Ladurée, with bubble-gum-fl avour macaroons in
an Alber Elbaz-sketched box. It’s all in the best possible taste.

QI don’t like heels, so
what am I going to wear on my feet this winter?
AUsually I’m a fan of anything that
elevates me at least a couple of inches, but winter, with its slippery ice, cold
winds and general feelings of discomfort, is a dangerous time to
rock anything too high. A girl needs to march confi dently around town and
not teeter on heels hoping she doesn’t break anything. I love these McQ
Paddock boots. They’re fl at(ish), with equestrian touches (a big trend for
A/W) and would look lovely with a big cashmere jumper and some skinny
jeans. Bring it on, Jack Frost. £370, alexandermcqueen.co.uk
