Fabric 1 Center Squares – ½ yardFabric 2 Corner and Setting Squares and Binding – 1 yardFabric 3 Inner Border – ¼ yardFabric 4 Outer Border – ½ yardBacking 1 yard

From Fabric 1 cut: 2 – 8”xWOF strips Subcut: 6 – 8”x8” squares

From Fabric 2 cut: 1 – 11⅞”xWOF strip Subcut: 2 – 11⅞””x11⅞” squares cut twice diagonally. Yield 8 setting triangles. You will use 6. 1 – 6¼”xWOF strip Subcut: 6 – 6¼”x6¼” squares cut once diagonally. Yield 12 corner triangles. 7 – 2¼”xWOF strips for binding

From Fabric 3 cut: 4– 1½”xWOF strips for inner border

From Fabric 4 cut: 4 – 3½”xWOF strips for outer border

Tablerunner uses 4 center squares, 4 corner triangles, 6 setting triangles, inner and outer borders.

1. Assemble 4 triangle/square units.

2. Join units.

3. Add corner triangles

4. Press.

1. Measure the length of the pieced unit thru the center. Cut 2 inner border strips to that measurement.

2. Add inner border strips to opposite sides of center unit. Press seams toward border.

3. Cut 2 outer border strips to same measurement as the inner border strip.

4. Add to opposite sides of tablerunner. Press seams toward inner border.

1. Join the 7 binding strips together end to end using a bias seam. Press seam open.

2. Fold binding in half wrong sides together. Press.Layer, quiLt and bind to compLete tabLerunner.

1. Assemble Center unit. Press.

2. Measure the length of the

pieced unit thru the center.

Cut 2 inner border strips to

4. Cut 2 outer border strips to same

Press seams toward inner border.

Repeat steps for second placemat.

3. Add to opposite side of

center unit. Press seams

toward border.
