Please remember that the campus must be secure during state assessments. Please do NOT enter the campus without checking into
the main office first.
The mission of our school focuses on meeting the unique needs of military dependent children. Many of our students experience multiple transitions during their education. When families are preparing for impending moves, they are busy focusing on new homes, new jobs and the stress of moving a household. This can have significant effects on the emotional and academic health of the children.
This Wednesday, we will share our experiences, training and the research so that you can best prepare your children for smooth transitions and future academic success. The information shared can be applied to any child making a transition to a new school, grade, home or community. Attendance at the meeting will count toward your required 15 hours of service. We hope to see you soon.

PRIORITY PLACEMENT FOR 2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR If your family has siblings still awaiting placement at SCS (or if you have a rising kindergartner),
please complete an application for them for the 2015-2016 school year. Siblings of current family members will receive priority placement prior to the lottery
During testing, it is especially important for children to be well rested, well nourished and punctual so that they are not stressed by the assessments. We hope students are excited to show what they’ve learned this year. We appreciate families respecting the testing environment and not entering buildings or hallways. Thank you for your support.
