We use signs all the time. Sometimes, we use them to save time,

instead of words...

that we have something in common with

others. Brownies wear this symbol to show that they

belong to the group.

Families sometimes have ‘Coats of Arms’,

which have symbols on that mean something

to the family. These are used as a ‘badge of

belonging’.
