Hier sind noch weitere Arbeiten des Projekts unserer Schüler aus Lilienthal und Mérida, damit ihr seht, dass wir neben vielen tollen Exkursion auch zusammen gearbeitet haben. Here are further results of our project of the students from Lilienthal and Mérida. You can see that we had a lot of fun but also worked together. :-)

Lilienthal:

St.Jürgen Church

The Church was built in 1106 and renovated inside and outside until today. It is located on a mound in the middle of the countryside in the village St.Jürgen in Lilienthal. Through the interior and exterior design, the Church gets its Northern German character.

The Golf course

The golf course is situated in a bog landscape in the vicinity a small bogin Lilienthal. It is a 12 -hole system. The clubhouse is a traditional farmhouse dating back to 1862. The year the foundation of the golfclub can be traced back to 1998.

The Lilienhof

On April 22nd 1977, 13 men and women met to form a club. Because themunicipality of Lilienthal had supported the farm system, one wished fora reference to Lilienthal. This name is originaly Lilienhof. The Lilienhof islocated in Worphausen, a part of Lilienthal.

The Freilichtbühne

The founder of the Freilichtbühne was Klaus Dieter Uhlen. The open air theatre was founded on 29.10.1984. In the past, the visitors had to sit on the rejected sit and provide themselves. One provides them with wooden benches with cushions today. 4 little frame houses around the open air theatre provide the important technology, scene painting and the mask. The open air theatre was extended in 1988 and started with the season in 1991.

The Truper Kapelle

The Trupe is part of Lilienthal`s oldest locating parts. The chapel was built by Karl the Great one at the moment. Documentarily it was mentioned in 1283 for the first time and old gravestones are in front of the entrance of the church from the 18th century, the chapel serves as amourning chapel today.

The city hall of Lilienthal

The mayor is Willy Hollatz and is a member of the party of the “Grünen“.Today`s city hall was built in 1978. The municipality of Lilienthal is more than 775 years old. (http://www.lilienthal.de/index.php?id=2)

Merida:

El acueducto de los milagros

The aqueduct of the miracles was one of the antennas that supplied water to the city of Emerida in Roman times, Aogosta(Merida).Their year of registration was in 1993. It had as main function to supply water to the West of the city.

The Roman Theatre of Merida is a historical theatre built by ancient Rome in the colony augosta emerida. Its creation was promodid by the consul Marco Vispano. Their year of registration was in 1993. It is located in the center of Merida.

El puente romano

The Roman bridge of Merida is considered the longest of antiquity. It crosses the river Guadiana. Its length is 792m and height measuring 12m. It is a bow that pedestrian bridge. Their year of registration was in 1993. This is one of the most extensive archaelogical ensembles in Spain.

The Temple of Diana (Templo de Diana) in Merida was a sacred site constructed by the Romans in the early first century AD, after the conquest of the area by the Emperor Augustus.Roman Merida, known as Emerita Augusta, became an important centre of Roman power in the region. Originally formed by veterans of the Roman conquest, the city grew quickly to become a thriving metropolis. Within this ancient city, the Temple of Diana would have formed a central part of the Roman Forum, where the principle civic buildings of the city originally stood. Incredibly well-preserved, probably due to its incorporation into a sixteenth century palace, the Temple of Diana’s Corinthian columns still stand in their original rectangular formation. It is part of UNESCO Archaeological Ensemble of Mérida.

The Circus Maximus

The Circus Maximus (Spanish: Circo romano) is a Roman hippodrome in Mérida, Spain. Used for chariot racing, it was modelled on the Circus Maximus in Rome and other circus buildings throughout the empire. Measuring more than 400 m in length and 30 m of width, it is one of the best preserved examples of the Roman circus.The circus could house up to 30,000 spectators.
