SIG Value Add to Chapters
• Brings international awareness to local Chapter Activities, Events, and Leadership
• Drives potential members, sponsors, and strategic partners to the Chapter
• Enables stronger community ties for collaboration and partnering purposes
• Opens communications channels for internships, mentoring, networking, and recruitment
• Creates additional volunteer leadership positions for leadership and professional development and continuity planning purposes

SIG Liaison Roles and Responsibilities
• Establishes positive working chapter relationships with Chapter President, VP of Communications, VP of Marketing, and VP of Programs personnel
• Conducts proactive outreach to chapter personnel regarding upcoming SIG meetings, events, leadership development, and volunteer opportunities
• Negotiates with each chapter to get SIG community links on their websites, events posted to calendars, email distribution notices sent out, and flyers or other marketing material distributed as appropriate
• Coordinates regional, area, or local special events with nearby chapter(s) to raise SIG awareness and build out stronger SIG communities. Conducts strategic partner or sponsorship outreach to support special event programming
