1 1 Run Like Kona Jose Valdivia, Jr. Robert Hess, Jr. 12/1 4/25 SA 6f 1:17.1h TT C In blinkers, best inside with Rosie's Pal (6f, 1:17.2h) in team training track drill while under strong pressure in the final

three furlongs to be all out while coming home in a sluggish :39.2. Hard to endorse for R. Hess, looks like a low-level maiden claimer.

4 4 Miss Ryleigh Assael Espinoza Peter Miller 7/2

5 5 Talia Abel Cedillo Philip D'Amato 6/15/3 SA 5f 1:03h TT B Worked outside Mischiffie (same time) in training track drill for D'Amato and did well enough in slow training track spin

while strictly on her own and able to go faster if asked, splits of :25 flat and 1:03 flat, plenty left late. Looks fit and could be dangerous in a moderate spot, for sure.

4/26 SA 4f :49.2h TT B- In team drill with D'Amato barnmates Just Grazed Me (4f, :48.1h TT, broke off far back, closed gap) and Noor Khan, (4f, :49.1h TT), and did fairly well without undue pressure to the wire, leaving a length in front and then holding sway after being challenged by 'Khan at the head of the lane, final three furlongs in :36.4. May have some run, worth another look.

6 6 Sweet Honor Geovanni Franco Ian Kruljac 4/1

7 7 Gem of a Tiger Victor Flores Steve Martinez 30/1 5/2 SA 4f :49h C+ Appeared a bit green but was best in team drill outside Mongol Altai (same time), drifting wide into the lane and then

appearing a tad unfocused in the final stages but not being asked much splits of :11.4, :23.2 and :49 flat. May have some speed, should debut in a modest spot for low profile connections.

8 8 Queensbeccaandjane Eswan Flores Gary Stute 8/14/29 SA 4f :46.4hg B Solo gate drill for G. Stute, broke well and was asked for her best throughout, splits of :22.4, :34 flat and :46.4, sharp

display of zip for a maiden claiming type. Certainly has some quickness, hard to say how far she'll how far she can carry it but is worth a look in a soft spot.

10 10 Reds Tribal Heart Agapito Delgadillo Lisa Bernard 30/1

11 11 Instastory Ruben Fuentes Jeff Bonde 8/13/8 SA 4f :50.4h C- Late changing leads and didn't look like much, final 1/4 in :26.1 under urging in the final stages. Champ Pegasus filly

needs real soft maiden claiming company for Bonde.

12 12 Spreckels Tiago Pereira Steve Knapp 10/1 4/19 SA 5f 1:02.2h B- Solo half mile spin for S. Knapp, hard held while trying to get out just a tad but did well enough, final three furlongs in

:12.2 and :37.1. May have a bit of improvement in her after showing some brief speed and then fading in debut on grass when reasonably well-backed (7-1). May be worth a look with a class drop.

4/12 SA 4f :48.4h B- Final three furlongs in :11.4 and :36.4, under a bit of pull early and then finishing in full stride. Has some speed and may improve if realistically spotted.

 Race #3 Allowance Optional Claiming - 5 1/2F D

FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON $15,000 OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING OR STARTER OR WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES OR OPTIONAL CLAIMING PRICE OF $40,000. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Other Than Claiming, Or Starter Allowed 2 lbs.

1 1 Silken Prince Jose Valdivia, Jr. Matthew Chew 6/15/9 SA 5f 1:00.3h B Inside Miss Bennet (same time) for Chew and was best by about a half-length at the wire with splits of :11.4 and :36.4,

plenty left. In good shape, probably most effective as a late-running sprinter.

5/2 SA 6f 1:14.4h B- Worked outside Lemon Drop Tini (same time) for M. Chew and did okay while under a nice hold late to be a tad best, splits of :12 flat and :37.2 while staying on edge. Late-running sprinter earned big figure when beating state-bred first-level allowance foes last time out; open company should be much tougher.

2 2 Jan's Reserve Agapito Delgadillo Mike Puype 6/15/8 SA 5f 1:01.1h B- Solo work while under some pressure through the lane, final three furlongs in :11.4 and :36.2, okay move. Veteran

gelding needs to be realistically spotted off the long layoff.

5/1 SA 5f 1:00.3h B Broke off a few lengths in front of Uncle Ray (5f, 1:00.3h) and finished down the lane with that one while going the slightly easier of the two, nice drill for come-backer with splits of :12 flat and :37.1. Getting fit, seems to be returning in good enough shape for M. Puype.

3 3 Galilean Flavien Prat John Sadler 2/1

SCR - Zimba Warrior SCRATCHED5/10 SA 4f :47h TT B Outside Hard Pass (same time) and did nicely in quick training track drill, edging clear late while coming the final quarter

in :23.4. In good shape, has all of his conditions.

5/3 SA 4f :48.3h B- Hooked in with Imperial Creed and Flinch (already moving, both 5f, 1:03.2h) and was wide into the lane before being ridden out in the final furlong, splits of :23.3 and :48.3 for K. Desormeaux. Was second in a first-level allowance race up north last time out and holds that form.

8 7 Appreciated Tiago Pereira Rafael Becerra 15/1

9 8 Tale of the Union Drayden Van Dyke Bob Baffert 8/55/7 SA 6f 1:13.4h B+ High class Union Rags colt went solo in this impressive six furlong drill, final three furlongs in :11.4 and :36.3, mostly on

his own. Been stopped and started on a few times and was ready to run in December (seem previous work) but came up with another issue. Looks good now and should be fit enough to resume where he left off as a 2-year-old.

12/15 SA 4f :46.1h A- Solo half mile main track spin for comebacker in Baffert barn, splits of :11.4, :22.3 and 46 flat on our watches, light coaxing through the lane while flashing intense ability. Won only start in the summer of his 2-year-old season and then disappeared. High class colt if he can stay healthy.

 Race #4 Maiden Claiming - 6F D

2 2 Pammi Dearest Jorge Velez Gary Mandella 6/1

3 3 Christmas Pickles Geovanni Franco Michael McCarthy 10/1 4/20 SA 4f :49h B- Broke off several lengths in front of Sandal (same time) for M. McCarthy and was breezing throughout, splits of :23.3 and

:49 flat, nice and easy. Finished far back vs. straight maidens in debut last summer and was stopped on, should return in a much softer spot and definitely can improve.

4 4 Dabzilla Edwin Maldonado Bruce Headley 20/1

5 5 Our Bonnie Lass Drayden Van Dyke Thomas Bell, II 15/1 5/7 SA 5f 1:03.2h C In company inside Kristi's Tiger (same time) for D. Pederson, splits of :24.4 and :49.4 from the half mile pole to the wire,

urged some in the final furlong while swishing her tale and winding up about a half-length behind at the wire. Not much to recommend, needs soft maiden claimers.

6 6 Kirsch Truffle Assael Espinoza Peter Miller 7/2

7 7 It's a Riddle Abel Cedillo Robert Hess, Jr. 6/1

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 Heathers Grey Aaron Gryder Sean McCarthy 8/13/21 SA 4f :47h B Sharp display of speed before being allowed to coast home, splits of :11.1, :22.1 and 47 flat for S. McCarthy. Has all of her

condition and may be most effective on the front end going long on turf.

2 2 Lostintranzlation Brice Blanc Manuel Marques 5/1

3 3 Ellie Arroway Victor Espinoza John Sadler 6/15/6 SA 5f 1:00.2h TT B Light coaxing through the while finishing in full stride in solo training track drill, final quarter in :24.3. In good shape,

might be most effective on the front end going long on grass.

4 4 Arctic Roll [GB] Drayden Van Dyke Andrew Lerner 4/14/5 SA 4f :50.1h TT B Solo half mile training track move for Lerner, breezing and looking eager, final three furlongs in :12.1 and :37 flat.

Comes off pair of strong efforts and maintains her form.

5 5 Hollywood Girl Mike Smith John Shirreffs 6/15/3 SA 5f 1:00.1h B+ Under a nice hold through the lane, plenty left, right on edge for Shirreffs. Been away since last summer at Del Mar but is

coming back in sharp style and likely will be an improved sort this time around.

4/27 SA 4f :47.4h B Cruising in solo half mile breeze, splits of :12.3, :23.4 and :47.4 while maintaining her edge. Lightly raced with further improvement in her but needs to learn how to break with her field.

SCR - Sapphire Kid SCRATCHED

7 6 Pretty Point Jose Valdivia, Jr. Patrick Gallagher 8/14/29 SA 4f :49h B Worked outside Social Graces (same time) in main track half mile drill for P. Gallagher, final quarter in :24.2, mild coaxing

only. Doing well, long-fused daughter of Point of Entry is a one-paced grinding type and prefers a considerable distance of ground. Has all of her conditions.

8 7 Lucia's Design Jorge Velez Craig Lewis 30/1 4/16 SA 4f :48.3h B- Worked inside Avalon Ride (same time) for C. Lewis and was coaxed through the lane to appear a tad the best, splits of

:11.3 and :36 flat for the final three furlongs. Holds her form but probably needs a class drop.

9 8 Quinnie Geovanni Franco Carla Gaines 15/1 5/6 SA 4f :50h TT C+ In blinkers, solo half mile drill on training track for Gaines, some coaxing through the lane, final three furlongs in :12.1 and

:37.3. Fair to moderate but probably wants turf for her best. Fresh form clever state-bred win but open foes will be tougher.

10 9 Kookie Gal Abel Cedillo Peter Miller 8/1

11 10 Gypsy Spirit [GB] Flavien Prat Leonard Powell 7/25/2 SA 5f 1:01.4h B- Not the smoothest of movers but seems like a trier, final three furlongs in :11.4 and :36.3 for Powell, never really asked

much. Just 1-for-19 lifetime but ran in good company overseas and has all of her conditions still available. Probably will show better on grass.

3/25 SA 5f 1:01h B- Workmanlike solo five furlong main track drill for Powell, final quarter in :25 flat, not really being asked much at all. European invader looks fairly fit, most likely needs grass to show her best stuff.

and :36 flat on our watches. Had a tune-up at Los Alamitos (never got involved after a slow start) and probably can do better but needs moderate claiming types on this circuit.

urging only, splits of :11.2 and :37.2 on our watches. Not the worst, but needs softest foes possible on this circuit.

FOR FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD WHICH HAVE NEVER WON $15,000 OTHER THAN MAIDEN, CLAIMING OR STARTER OR WHICH HAVE NEVER WON TWO RACES OR OPTIONAL CLAIMING PRICE OF $40,000. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs. Non-winners Of A Race Other Than Claiming, Or Starter At A Mile Or Over Allowed 2 lbs.

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 Quick [GB] Umberto Rispoli John Sadler 5/25/7 SA 6f 1:14.2h TT B- Was chirped to and ridden a bit through the lane in solo six furlong training track drill, final quarter in :24.4. Plenty fit,

wants to run long and should get that chance next time.

4/30 SA 5f 1:02.3h TT B Breezing in solo training track drill for Sadler, final three furlongs in :12.3 and :37.3, nice and relaxed. Would love to see her stretch out around two turns, Has all of her conditions.

2 2 Catch the Eye Aaron Gryder David Hofmans 15/1 4/22 SA 6f 1:14.3h B- Inside Sabino's Pride (same time) for Hofmans in main track team drill, splits of :12 flat, :37 flat and :50 flat while

being ridden from mid-stretch to the wire and then out to the 7/8 pole while appearing a bit the best. Okay drill, probably a bit more comfortable on grass.

3/30 SA 6f 1:15.3h TT B- Mild urging through the lane and finished well enough for Hofmans while appearing fit. Finally graduated in February in nine furlong turf event, seems to have done well since, and will get tested on the raises.

3 3 Fashion Royalty [GB] Brice Blanc Patrick Gallagher 15/1 4/27 SA 4f :48.3h C+ In company outside Red Lark (4f, :49.1h for Gallagher, breaking off a bit behind and then finishing about a head back at

the wire, some coaxing through the lane, final three furlongs in :11.3 and :36.2. A bit better than last work, fair to moderate, may need all-weather or turf to be most comfortable. Was fair third up north in U.S. debut in early March.

4/18 SA 4f :48.2h C+ Broke off several lengths behind Social Graces (same time) for Gallagher, caught and engaged workmate at the quarter pole but couldn't get by (workmate breezing), splits of :12.1, :23.4 and :49 flat on our watches, slower than given and not impressive. May need turf for her best.

4 4 Legend Emma [IRE] Ruben Fuentes Manuel Marques 10/1 3/8 SA 5f 1:02.4h TT C+ Worked locally in early March (was subsequently sent to train at San Luis Rey Downs_) and went a solo five furlongs

over training track while earning splits of :24.3, :376.4 and 1:03.1 on our watches, decent to the top but then a tad late changing leads and not really finishing all that well. Been away for a couple of years and is clearly not fit yet.

5 5 Lavender [Ire] Eswan Flores Matthew Chew 6/1

6 6 Teachers Big Dream Tiago Pereira Eddie Truman 15/1

7 7 Avalon Ride Jorge Velez Craig Lewis 12/1 4/16 SA 4f :48.3h C+ In company outside Lucia's Design (same time) for C. Lewis and was ridden a bit in the final stages to appear a tad second

best, final three furlongs in :11.3 and :36.1, nothing particularly noteworthy, okay at best. Likely much more comfortable on grass, defeated state-bred foes last time out and will get tested by open company next time.

8 8 Madame Bourbon Drayden Van Dyke Mark Glatt 15/1

9 9 Muchly [GB] Flavien Prat Simon Callaghan 4/14/30 SA 5f 1:00.4h B Mostly on her own in solo drill for Callaghan, final three furlongs in :11.2 and :35.2 looking sharp and happy. Probably

better than her local debut shows, should be tighter and sharper next time out, seeking another first-level allowance affair for fillies and mares on grass.

10 10 Dupioni [IRE] Jose Valdivia, Jr. Patrick Gallagher 4/15/8 SA 5f 1:02.1h B Worked outside Red Lark (5f, 1:02.4h) for Gallagher, breaking off a few lengths behind and then proving best close

home, never really asked much, final three furlongs in :12 flat and :37 flat. Ran well to be second in U. S. debut in first-level allowance turf affair for fillies and mares and has a right to build on that performance next time.

11 11 Tap Into Beauty Abel Cedillo Jeff Mullins 15/1 4/15 SA 5f 1:02.2h C+ Worked inside Originaire (5f, 1:02.1h) and was second best while under urging from the top of the lane to the wire

(workmate going easily), final half mile in :12.1, :24.3 and :50 flat, not particularly impressive. Won her debut in New Mexico last year but this circuit is a whole different ball game. Hard to classify, probably not quite fit yet.

 Race #9 Maiden Special Weight - 5 1/2F D

FOR MAIDENS, THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. Three Year Olds, 120 lbs.; Older, 126 lbs..

PGM PP RUNNER JOCKEY TRAINER M/L

1 1 Goboldly Edwin Maldonado Andrew Lerner 12/1 4/22 SA 5f 1:01.1h C+ Worked outside Dark Hedges (5f, 1:01.3h) for Lerner and was second best under some coaxing in the final furlong, splits

of :23.2 and :48.2 on our watches for the final half mile. Son of Flat Out should make amends soon, probably a high priced maiden claiming type.

4/15 SA 5f 1:00.4h C+ Unraced 4yo maiden worked outside Next Revolt for Lerner, and was mildly coaxed in the final stages while appearing a tad second best, splits of :11.4 and :36.4 for Lerner. Has bit of run at this stage but probably nothing special.

2 2 Canadian Luck Victor Espinoza James Cassidy 15/1

3 3 Ka'nah Mike Smith Ryan Hanson 6/1

4 4 Big Mel J.C. Diaz, Jr. Bob Baffert 4/15/10 SA 6f 1:12.4h B+ Worked outside American Code (same time) for Baffert and was slightly second best, breaking off about a length back

and was breezing to the top, then coming under some mild coaxing late (workmate going easily, never really asked), splits of :12.2, :24.3, :36.2 and 1:00.3 from the 5/8ths pole to the wire on our watches. Brought $800,000 as a yearling and definitely can run some but workmate is pretty salty. Should debut soon.

5/3 SA 5f :59.3hg B+ In company in team gate drill for Baffert with Much More Halo (same time), splits of :24.1 (hard held), :35.4, :47.3 and :59.4 on our watches while being let run late and drawing clear for workmate with some authority, pulling up at the wire for a full six furlongs in 1:14.2. Quality Road colt definitely has ability and is getting fit, worth following, for sure.

4/17 SA 4f :46.1h B+ Worked inside Dark Prince (same time) for Baffert in quick half mile main track drill and went nicely though showing a slight tendency to want to lean out through the lane (nice hold, though), splits of :11.3, :22.3 and :46.2 while a bit the best. Looks to have plenty of talent, getting fit, must follow.

5 5 Rayray Abel Cedillo Mark Glatt 20/1 5/2 SA 5f :59.2h B Worked inside Vander Kelen (5f, 1:00.3h) for M. Glatt, head-and-head with that one to the head of the lane and then

opening up quickly when asked at the furlong pole, much best with splits of :11.3, :22.3, :34.1 and :59.2 on our watches. Sharp drill for come-backer, returns as a first-time gelding and is likely better than his two starts from last year indicate.

6 6 American Code Drayden Van Dyke Bob Baffert 5/25/10 SA 6f 1:12.4h A- Worked inside Big Mel (same time) for Baffert and was slightly best, breaking off about a length in front and breezing

throughout, quite sharp, splits of :12.3, :24.3, :36.2 and 1:00.3 from the 5/8ths pole to the wire on our watches, plenty left late. Missed at 3/5 in his debut when worn down late but should be a short price to make amends next time. Remains an excellent prospect.

5/3 SA 5f 1:00hg B Worked inside Mo Hawk (same time, stumbled at start, nice drill thereafter) for Baffert in team gate drill and was a bit the best without being asked (though he needed to be coaxed to change leads), splits of :24.1 :35.4, :47.4 and 1:00 flat, eased up to the wire in 1:14.3. Plenty fit, nice colt, will make the entries as soon as racing resumes.

7 7 Newell Aaron Gryder George Papaprodromou 30/1 3/28 SA 5f 1:00.4h C In company inside American Theorem (5f, :59.2h), breaking off a few lengths behind but then getting blown away by

talented workmate, splits of :24.2, :36 flat to the top but then falling back was out-classed. Maiden claiming type.

9 8 Valuation Umberto Rispoli Simon Callaghan 8/1

10 9 Twirling Derby Geovanni Franco Ruben Gomez 50/1 3/21 SA 5f 1:02h C- In blinkers, solo drill and not impressive at all, final half in :11.2, :23.2 and :49.3, urged in the final furlong. Had one run last

May as a 2-year-old and was far back, needs real soft foes this time around.

11 10 Lane Way Flavien Prat Richard Mandella 4/1

12 11 Candy Fury Jorge Velez Victor Garcia 6/15/2 SA 5f 1:01.3h B- In blinkers, mild coaxing through the lane, final three furlongs in :11.3 and :36.2 for V. Garcia, not bad. Maiden special

weight material but on the lower end of that at this stage.
