The human brain cannot read written words and listen to spoken words at the same time.

Your brain can process images and sounds simultaneously, but not written words and speech. If you are still reading this slide you are not paying attention to a word I am saying, and therefore are not going to remember me. Which is a shame, because what I am saying is very important. (To me at least.)
