Suggestions:
1. Each team for every floor should give name to their team and every month ateam member will be a team captain. Depending on the performance,

of the monthaward should be given with some monetary or non-monetary
rewards. The selection of best team process should be transparent and it
should include the feedbacks from customers.
2. The communication between teams and hierarchical people must be madestronger. Also periodical team meetings should take place and feedback &
suggestions from employees must be considered.
3. Based on the performance, for the low performers annual rigorous trainingprogrammust be planned and executed. Evaluation of training program also
must be carried out.
4. Training programs, games & Team outings should be carried during offseason, as there will be less occupancy. Because employee engagement is
necessary to keep them satisfied & motivated.
5. Considering all employees, Star of the monthaward with some monetaryor non-monetary rewards can be given for best performing employees.
6. Skills & Career development programscan be conducted for the employeeswho work more than 2 years in Portman Hotel.
7. Clear roles & responsibilities must be communicated to all employees andadequate supervisorsmust be appointed irrespective of costs as this helps in
sustainability of structure.
8. Tipping system must be standardizedby sharing tips within teams and this inturn increases team spirit.
