How  to  wax  your  snowboard?

Apply  the  Wax    Waxing  applica+on  requires  an  iron  that  maintains  its  temperature  well.      Typical  home  irons  have  a  lot  of  temperature  fluctua+on,  so  ski  waxing  irons  are  recommended.    Power  up  the  iron.      The  temperature  should  be  lower  for  so@er/warmer  wax  and  higher  for  harder/colder  wax.  The  approximate  iron  temperature  is  o@en  printed  on  the  wax  box.

How  to  wax  your  snowboard?      Hold  a  chunk  of  wax  against  the  base  of  the  iron  and  let  it  drip  onto  the  ski  as  it  melts.      Hold  the  iron  2"  to  4"  inches  above  the  ski  and  move  it  from  +p  to  tail  and  side  to  side,  leFng  the  molten  wax  droplets  cover  the  base  completely.

Place  the  iron  on  the  ski  base  and  spread  the  wax  over  the  enWre  base  unWl  a  layer  of  wax  coats  the  whole  surface.      Don't  hold  the  iron  in  one  place  for  too  long,  as  this  could  cause  the  ski  base  to  blister.  Make  sure  that  the  wax  melts  all  the  way  across  the  ski,  from  edge  to  edge  and  +p  to  tail.  If  an  area  is  too  dry,  add  more  wax.  The  wax  layer  should  be  thin  enough  that  one  end  dries  as  you  reach  the  other  end.

Wait  for  the  ski  to  cool  and  dry  completely  (30  minutes  to  1  hour).      Don't  cool  the  ski  outside  because  that  will  cause  the  wax  to  get  pushed  back  up  out  of  the  pores  of  the  ski.

Carefully  clean  your  iron  so  the  current  wax  doesn't  mix  with  the  next  round.

THAT  PERFECT  SUNKISSED  TAN  THE  STEPS:      STEP  1  Exfoliate  and  shave  Take  a  shower,  and  use  a  loofah  or  another  mild  abrasive  to  gently  exfoliate  your  skin.    Shave  as  usual.

STEP  2  Use  sunscreen  Apply  a  sunscreen  that's  at  least  SPF  15.    If  you  choose  a  lo+on  that  also  contains  a  bronzer,  pick  one  that's  based  on  DHA,  a  natural  sugar  that  stains  the  skin.      The  color  takes  just  a  few  hours  to  appear,  lasts  for  days,  and  gives  you  a  li_le  extra  color  boost  while  you  build  your  base.

THAT  PERFECT  SUNKISSED  TAN    STEP  3  Go  low  and  slow  Small,  regular  doses  of  UV  rays  are  the  best  way  to  get  your  glow.      Spend  about  an  hour  in  the  sun  every  other  day,  and  try  to  stay  in  the  shade  from  11  a.m.  to  4  p.m.      If  you're  using  a  tanning  bed,  start  with  regular  visits  and  limit  your  exposure  to  several  minutes  at  a  +me.  STEP  4  Don't  burn  Don’t  burn.      A  sunburn  causes  damage  to  the  skin's  cells  that  not  only  hinders  your  ability  to  tan,  but  will  significantly  increase  your  skin  cancer  risk.    STEP  5  Moisturize  Hydrated  skin  tends  to  tan  be_er  than  skin  that's  dry  or  damaged.      Drink  lots  of  water,  and  use  a  lo+on  that  contains  sodium  PCA,  a  naturally  occurring  substance  that  a_racts  and  binds  moisture  to  your  skin.  STEP  6  Keep  up  your  vitamins  Use  supplements  or  lo+ons  to  get  the  recommended  doses  of  Vitamin  C  and  E.      These  nutrients  are  powerful  an+oxidants,  and  can  help  decrease  inflamma+on  and  skin  cell  damage  from  UV  rays.    STEP  7  Get  an  all-‐over  tan  You'll  look  pre_y  silly  if  you're  only  tan  on  one  side.      Make  sure  you  give  your  whole  body—including  sides  and  underarms—even  exposure.      And  if  problem  areas  like  your  legs  and  face  don't  tan  as  quickly,  regular  moisturizing  should  help.

Chick  Camps  Report  Our  List  of  Shred  Dolls  Best  for  2015

Diagnosis:

We  decided  to  make  a  list  of  snowboard  and  ski  camps  that  were  not  on  Transworld,  Snowboarder  Mag,  Newschoolers,  Freeskier  of  Yobeat.

Many  magazines  o@en  list  only  10  camps  in  different  parts  of  the  world.    We  did  our  research  and  found  camps  for  all  different  disciplines  ranging  from  Freestyle  to  Backcountry  in  either

snowboarding  or  freeski.    This  list  has  a  mix  and  wide  variety  of  op+ons  with  different  price  ranges  along  with  loca+ons  all  over  the  world  during  different  +mes.    We  digged  as  deep  as  we  could  go  to  find  as  many  camps  as  possible  all  over  the  world.    Ski  schools  at

resorts  were  not  included  on  the  list  and  we  imagine  that  there  are  many  more  camps  that  we  didn’t  find.    Though  we  do  feel  successful

of  providing  a  large  array  of  op+on  for  our  readers!

Natural Remedies to !Getting Rid of Scars:

Apply lemon to the scar. Lemons contain alpha hydroxy acids(AHA) which help to remove dead skin cells, help new cells grow, and bring back some elasticity to the skin. As a natural bleach, it can help lighten scars. •  Make sure the scar and surrounding area are cleaned thoroughly •  Put 1 teaspoon of lemon juice on a cotton ball •  Rub the cotton ball on the scarred area •  Let it sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse it off •  Lemon juice may make your skin sensitive to light, so consider wearing sunscreen wherever you applied it

when going outside Use honey. Raw honey can also be used to fade scars. It is a natural moisturizer, can be effective in the treatment of wounds, and stimulates tissue regeneration. •  Mix 2 tbsp. of raw honey with 2 tbsp. of baking soda •  Massage for 3 minutes •  Place a hot washcloth over the area •  When the washcloth has cooled, use it to wipe the area clean •  Note: Try mixing 2 tbsp. of raw honey with 1 tbsp. of baking soda to make an exfoliating wash to help fade

acne scars

Natural Remedies to! Getting Rid of Scars

Try onion extract. This is an anti-inflammatory and can inhibit the production of collagen in a scar, thereby making it less noticeable. •  It is typically found in a gel that you rub onto the scar •  This process is long and may take up to several months before you start to see any results.

Consider using aloe vera gel. Aloe Vera's anti-inflammatory properties help reduce skin irritations and help remove dead skin from wounds. Aloe vera may also lessen swelling, help repair damaged skin cells, and fortify new skin cells being produced. •  Aloe vera can be found in many forms including gels, ointments, and lotions •  Apply and massage the aloe vera directly on the scar tissue several times a day Use Indian gooseberry. Also known as "amla," this is a great source of vitamin C, and is most effective if applied to a newly-healed area immediately as it will go right to work inhibiting the formation of scar tissue. •  Amla is often found in a powder or paste. You can even make your own amla paste at home by mixing

the powder with water or olive oil •  Massage the paste into your skin on the affected area

Natural Remedies to !Getting Rid of Scars

Make or purchase cucumber paste. Cucumbers are cheap, easy to find, and are commonly used to make skin softer and more supple. One bonus, is that cucumbers aren't very acidic and are very unlikely to cause skin irritations. •  Make your own cucumber paste by peeling the cucumber, removing its seeds and blending it with

about 4-5 mint leaves in a blender. Beat an egg white separately and then add this to your mix.[3] •  Apply the paste on the scar and leave it on for about 20 minutes •  Wash it off with cool water and use a clean towel to dry the area •  Practice this regularly to see the most benefits

Try tea tree oil. This powerful oil is anti-bacterial and when used properly can gradually remove scars, including acne and surgical scars. Since it's so strong, it should be diluted with water before being applied to the skin, and should NEVER be ingested. •  Add a small amount of tea tree oil to warm water to create a "soap" •  Wash the affected area with the soap, then rinse and gently dry it off •  You may experience some tingling or light stinging after using the oil, but that is most likely due to the

anti-bacterial agents at work. If the stinging persists, you may want to stop using it and consult a dermatologist before continuing its use.
