Senior Dance Troupe Members

This has been one of my favorite years I have ever had at Chartiers Valley. I couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated and hardworking group of seniors. It has been an unforgettable year, one I know that I will treasure. Remember as you move forward to never doubt yourself, to always put your best foot forward, and to JUST BREATHE. Senior Dance Troupe Members Samantha Efthimiades - Samantha has been dancing since the age of 2. She is now a 4 year member and 1 year captain of the Dance Troupe and a 4 year member and 1 year captain of the Drill Team. With Troupe she has participated in 4 Universal Dance Team Championships, 4 showcases, and 3 musicals including 9' to 5', Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, and Beauty and the Beast. She also is a member of the Thespian Society. Samantha has enjoyed every performance on Chartiers Valley's stage, field, and court and would like to thank her family, friends, and especially Mrs. Jenkins for all of the love and support through the years. Samantha will be attending George Mason University in the fall to pursue a degree in Business and Marketing with plans to continue dancing as a member of the Masonettes.

Hannah Formosa -Hannah is a first year member of the Chartiers Valley Dance Troupe and a four year participant in showcase. She is a three year member of the Chartiers Valley Majorettes and a two year captain. Hannah trained at Ruby’s School of dance for four years and plans to continue twirling and dancing while attending a four year college this fall. Hannah would like to thank her family, friends and team for the endless love and support. She would especially like to thank her coach Mrs. Jenkins for filling her with unforgettable opportunities and encouraging her to strive for success. She is appreciative of her teammates that have become a second family to her and have made her senior year one to remember. Hannah is beyond thankful for the chance to do what she loves while making memories that can never be replaced. Mackenzie Sherry - Mackenzie is a four year member of the Chartiers Valley Drill Team and the Chartiers Valley Dance Troupe. She is also a one year captain of both teams. Mackenzie is a member of the National Honor Society and the Thespian Society. She has also furthered her dance education at the Thomas Studio of Performing Arts for five years. Mackenzie was a candidate for the 2015-2016 Homecoming Court. Mackenzie has participated in three Spring Musicals and three showcases and she is very excited for her final performance on the Chartiers valley Stage. Mackenzie will continue her education at the University of Cincinnati where she will be a member of the University of Cincinnati Dance team and plans to major in Health Education.

Cassie Willetts - Cassie is a one year member of the Chartiers Valley Dance Troupe, two year member of the Chartiers Valley Drill Team and four year participant in Showcase. Cassie was also a two year member of the bowling team and two year member of the French Club. She has maintained High Honor roll throughout high school. Although, very sad her dancing career at Chartiers Valley has come to an end, Cassie is very excited to move on to the next chapter of her life at Kent State University in the fall. She is thankful for the friendships and memories she has made while dancing at Chartiers Valley. With endless appreciation, she would especially like to thank her family and friends for their support over the years, her team for all their hard work and her coach, Mrs. Jenkins, for the amazing experience and memories that she will cherish and keep with her forever.

Director’s Thank You • Thank you Dance Troupe for all of your dedication and passion. It has

been a fantastic year from 1st place this summer, 1st and 2nd place in all regional competitions, State Champs to 12th out of 60 in the Nation! Lastly, we accomplished our goal of making finals at Nationals! I hope you have an amazing Showcase performance to finish this year on the perfect note.

• Samantha Efthimiades and Kenzie Sherry, I can’t believe how fast these past 4 years have gone. You were my first freshmen to take on the endeavor of Nationals with me; you have been with me every step of the way. Your dedication, passion, and ability to make every practice fun are unmatched. Good luck and I can’t wait to watch you at College Nationals.

• To the 2016 seniors –You will be sorely missed! Enjoy your last performance on the CV stage. As you move on in your life remember to live in the moment and don’t leave anything to chance.

• I would like to thank the Charvalettes and Majorettes for an exceptional year. It has been a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. Your hard work paid off and shows at every performance.
