9 Tips for a Great Gala Event Video1. Have an internal discussion and decide what the goals are for the video. It should
not be carrying all the water; it’s a part of a larger communications strategy.2. Give yourself plenty of time to do it right - at minimum 3 months, but 4 is better.3. Watch other orgs videos and have your team write down what works for them and
what doesn’t.4. Find the stories that matter to donors - show the donor as the hero, making the
change happen.5. Leave out program details. 6. Tell 1 or 2 stories. Keep it simple. Simple is powerful. 7. Check back on your goals at each production stage. Are you achieving them? If not,
why? 8. Make the video with future use in mind -- this sh*t is expensive! Maximize the use of
