Full Name was Thyagaraja Paramasiva

Kailasam (1884–1946)

He was a playwright and prominent writer of

Kannada literature.

His contribution to Kannada theatre comedy

earned him the title Prahasana Prapitamaha,

"the father of humorous plays“

he was also called as "Kannadakke Obbane

Kailasam" meaning "One and Only Kailasam for

Kannada"

because he give promise to Arjuna that

he became best archer in the world.

Eklavya was fast learner and best Archery than Arjuna. When guru Dronacharya refuse him to taught archery that time he decide to self learning archery and he take a inspiration from the statue of Dronacharya.

Eklavya self learn archery.

But Eklavya was better than Arjuna.

When Arjuna saw this he is not accept

it and he complaint to his Gurujee

Eklavya don’t want it that’s why he give

his Right thumb to Gurujee

Sutiable for their character.

T.P. kailasam’s purpose that he want to

high light the character of Eklavya.

So T.P.kailasam’s the play ‘The purpose’

is appropriate.

Because in the play we can see the

purpose of Eklavya, Arjuna and

T.P.kailasam’s also.
