It was Sunday afternoon 11 November 2012 and the normally deserted Northbank of the River Thames

was hosting a new Red Carpet Shopping Experience, Show & Sell.

Tucked inside the Northbank Restaurant and Bar there were 10 vendors all displaying the best from

their product ranges.

Guests were greeted on the red carpet with Champagne and at one stage of the day a bonus Skinnie

Minnie cupcake courtesy of one vendor, Serendipity Cottage.

Live music provided by Spanish Diva Gloria Garcia and 2013 NME nominee Tiger Lilly playing acoustic

sets filtered through the venue throughout the day while guests shopped and sampled each of the

vendor’s offerings.

Northbank Restaurant and Bar put on a specialised menu for the day filled with delicious offerings and

with the sun shining guests made full use of the outdoor terrace area.

The overall vibe of the day was very laid back and relaxed as it should be on a Sunday.

force behind Tiger World PR & Events.

Tiger Lilly is an British/Persian pop/rock artist with 2 albums out on iTunes. Having just completed a

successful tour around the UK playing at legendary venues culminating in some super performances

during and at the London 2012 Olympics.

The latest work from Tiger Lilly is her contribution to the #saynotoracism campaign with new single

Walk A Mile featuring Jurassic Dave.

Tucked under the Millennium Bridge with outstanding Thameside views NORTHBANK is a friendly,

stylish restaurant and bar created by owner Christian Butler (ex-Adam

Street and Baltic).

Head Chef Peter Woods (ex-Tante Claire, The Belvedere, The Savoy) is passionate about sourcing fresh

ingredients for his excellent Modern British menu with a West

Country influence.

The Northbank team are well-rehearsed in producing events including corporate lunches, dinners,

private parties, wine-tastings, photo shoots, press events and
